What i like about weekends is that i always have the luxury to do food tripping especially during Sunday’s because it’s family day and yet today is another day of exploration. After having mass, We celebrated Father’s Day inside HYPERMART with my cousins. After doing my groceries. The family just decided to eat at the food section of the said supermarket. Then my cousin saw ZAGU and insisted that instead of softdrinks why don’t we just drink pearl shakes as our beverage for a change. For me that was a splendid idea because i’ll have another material for a blog.

“Lot of flavors to choose from.”
ZAGU, is one of the pioneers in making pearl shakes. Before the Coffee, Milk Tea craze, It was the pearl shake craze.

“Not that expensive like Milk Teas.”
Pearl shakes are usually in demand during summer season. During Rico Yan’s era he used to have his own business of this kind, I am not really sure if his pearl shake business is still existing.

“Small, Medium, Large.”
There are 3 ways to enjoy your pearl shake.

As a matter of fact you can have your home made shakes, Just make sure you have a blender and a lot of flavorings.

This machine is used to seal your cup with a protective cover.

“Ube, Buko Pandan, Black Forest and Choco Crumble.”
Since the oldies are not fond of sweets they only ordered Baby Z while we youngsters chose Regular.

“Be Refreshed.”
Saved the best for last, Here’s mine.
CREAM BRULEE :

If i am not mistaken, I think the idea ZAGU derives from the word SAGO which is the main component of this drink.

TASTE :
Since my drink is all about cream, Definitely the taste is very creamy. The sago in it is complementary to all of the flavors, without it this drink will just be another one of those ordinary drinks in the streets.

VERDICT :
For me it’s not the type of drink that i’ll die for but it’s a good alternative to refresh yourself especially when it’s really hot.
I will drink this once in a while, The best description that i can give it is it’s a mood maker.
Since i’m not really a fan of it, i’ll give it a respectful grade of 8/10.
